We build weblogs, mainly, for schools and other organisations. We even built the Government Office for the West Midlands' intranet, though no link for that.

We were at the start of RSS, and so have enjoyed scraping feeds from eBay to make this site.

Yes, we like eBay. Mostly. Not so keen on the phishing scams, and the requests to send goods or money to Nigeria, but we know about it, so are not surprised anymore, except at the level of professionalism or utter stupidity of the scammers.

Tips:

never give your log in information to anyone

always check the URL to ensure it is ebay.com. Note: sometimes ebay.com is in the wrong place!

always use the website to check, never merely listen to emails that you receive. Generally, ignore them and log into your eBay account, manually, or from a bookmark. Once there, check the emails in your email page.

I've a Nokia N70, which I love. Not just for making calls, which I do very little of, but for shooting video, pictures, and listening to music and podcasts. And sending email to my blogs.

I love the connection to the computer that is Nokia's PC Suite.

I love the video, plenty of room on my 2Gb SD card, and with an extra battery in my pocket I reckon I'd get 50 hours of video! Though, I have to stop and start a new take every 10 minutes as youTube won't let you go beyond 10 minutes (though Google Video will). And, I've usually quite a bit of music stored on that 2Gb.

My daughter loves her Samsung e250 and will be getting something better for her birthday. The Samsung PC Studio 3 isn't a patch on the Nokia. Neither is the phone. Still, it's pink and she loves it too :-)

We decided to make this site, as we thought it would be useful for us, and if its useful for us, then, it should be useful for others and if it is, we may as well make some money off it.
